Noah A. Brumfield practices with the Global Antitrust/Competition Group and represents clients with respect to issues arising under US federal and state antitrust law, international antitrust law, and fair competition laws. One area of Mr. Brumfield’s antitrust practice has been the intersections of antitrust and intellectual property and regulation for companies in high tech and regulated industries. Representative clients include those in software, computer and telecommunications hardware, semiconductors, financial networks and services, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, cable television, and transportation industries. Mr. Brumfield defends clients at trial and before the federal antitrust agencies, having successfully represented clients in over 125 M&A and joint venture transactions before the antitrust agencies. He also actively counsels on antitrust issues raised by competitor collaborations, patent settlements, IP licensing, and distribution agreements.
